Description:
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and lockdown conditions in Melbourne, pressure has significantly increased on local community outreach services which have asked for additional support for the relief of poverty and misfortune for the marginalized in rooming houses, temporary Visa holders and homeless communities in the City of Boroondara. Working with Rotarians, BCO and local traders, CORK, plans to respond to these needs and make funds available to help provide sustainable food sources for feeding programs providing hundreds of meals each week, for masks and hygiene products, and to provide support for other outreach programs and transport as required through existing local organizations. Supplying food through local traders will also support businesses who have struggled through lockdwn

Rotary Australia Benevolent Society (Managed by RAWCS) has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) registration and has been listed as a Charitable Fund so we can accept tax deductible Donations from individuals or organisations.
