Description:
In partnership with Emergency Medicine Kenya Foundation (EMKF), the Rotary Club of Taree will spearhead funding support towards Adopting-an-ED (Emergency Department) in Kenya. This entails funding one or more Emergency Care Centres in Kenya to have an oxygen gas manifold installed that would provide basic oxygen (oxygen is needed in the A-B-C of resuscitation), as part of the overall goal to develop the current emergency care services in destitute county referral hospitals in Kenya, currently battling with covid pandemic. Likewise, to engage other Rotary clubs in Australia to "Adopt an ED in Kenya" to maximize the gain and provide bigger impact towards our target beneficiaries. Sustainability of the program is addressed by partnership with the local organizations EMKF and CHAK.

Tax Deductibility:
Rotary Australia Overseas Aid Fund (Managed by RAWCS) has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) registration and has been listed as a Charitable Fund so we can accept tax deductible Donations from individuals or organisations.
